About the RoleWe have a unique opportunity for an ERM Planner to join our Equipment Reliability & Maintenance team. This replacement role plays a key part in ensuring that our resources and assets are maintained efficiently and continue to perform at their best. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up new equipment and assets within the Maintenance Database, as well as planning and scheduling all equipment maintenance and calibration activities.   You will collaborate closely with the Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Teams and Operations stakeholders to ensure that all planned maintenance projects are executed seamlessly. Part of your role includes updating the Maintenance Database to reflect any Engineering Changes, and coordinating equipment spare parts requirements with suppliers, purchasing teams, and material controllers. You will also have the opportunity to initiate Continuous Improvement projects aimed at enhancing overall Maintenance KPIs and strengthening the reliability of our operations.   About youTo succeed in this role, you will ideally hold a relevant tertiary degree from an accredited university or NZQA equivalent, with preference given to candidates with a technical or engineering qualification. You will bring between one and three years of experience in planning activities, project management, and managing customer expectations within a factory manufacturing or similar planning environment.   A strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a team player who can also demonstrate project management leadership, operate independently, and manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.   Experience in a medical industry setting—particularly within a high-mix, high-volume (HMHV) manufacturing environment—is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with software such as SAP, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, or other planning tools will be beneficial. Candidates with SolidWorks experience will have an added advantage, although this is not a requirement.   If this sounds like you, please apply online and include your updated CV and cover letter.   About us At Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, we have a passion for making things better — not only for our patients, but for our employees. Therefore, it is essential that our successful applicant has a strong focus on continuous improvement.   We are dedicated to designing our recruitment process with care and empathy to support all candidates, regardless of identity, background, and experiences.
