About the role Joining our Fixed Plant Maintenance team, the Maintenance Planner ensures that all routine maintenance activities for our process plant are appropriately planned (with input from operations and maintenance) so that the work can progress in a safe, environmentally responsible, efficient, cost effective and repeatable manner. Key Accountabilities Key accountabilities of this position include. * Continually monitor compliance to, and optimize preventative maintenance programs and schedules, to deliver performance targets for equipment availability and reliability. * Work with mechanical/electrical Supervisors to develop, implement and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs for fixed plant assets based on RCM principles. * Develop and update maintenance Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), inspection sheets and checklists for PMs and other routine maintenance tasks. About You To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have mechanical or electrical trade qualifications or Bachelor of engineering degree in either mechanical or electrical. You must also have technical qualification in Maintenance Planning. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following. * Five (5) years’ experience in computer-based maintenance planning/scheduling. * Must have experience in using Pronto ERP * Must have advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Projects. * Strong understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance. Responsibilities
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring all routine maintenance activities for the process plant are planned safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while continually monitoring and optimizing preventative maintenance programs to meet equipment availability targets. This involves collaborating with supervisors to develop and implement PM programs based on RCM principles and updating maintenance SOPs and inspection documentation.
