Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a manufacturing facility located in Barnwell, SC . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, analyzing equipment issues, and supporting the maintenance team in maximizing equipment efficiency and uptime.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE MAINTENANCE PLANNER POSITION:

• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Minimum two years of experience on specific equipment within area of responsibility
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical drive systems, and electrical controls
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer skills (SAP experience preferred)
• Ability to work in elevated temperatures and dusty environments
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to provide after-hours support when needed

• Plan and schedule all preventive maintenance work using SAP
• Communicate effectively with production teams to understand equipment-related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine and process issues
• Support shift maintenance with difficult repairs during and after hours
• Analyze machine breakdowns to prevent future failures
• Ensure all repairs meet OEM specifications and are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner
• Properly allocate parts and labor to correct work orders and cost centers
• Monitor equipment performance for signs of inefficiency or potential failure
