This company is a leader within their respective industry and employs more than 1000 in within their Asia Pac division. With an annual Tun Over of more than $300 million and 30 different product groups that are designed and built here in Australia, they are looking to appoint a Maintenance Planner to assist with their mining and metals and water and wastewater production units.
This position will be a mid-level to senior role where you will provide maintenance planning and support to a team of 100 fabricators, fitters, and technical experts. Responsible for maintenance planning through CMMS systems, plant equipment, monitor maintenance cost, inventory levels. You will manage and maintain assets, assist the maintenance department, create and perform maintenance plans & shutdowns to avoid any delays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the teams on the Process Plant Equipment, CNC and Production Machinery
  • Modify & assist with the implementation of a computerised maintenance management system to establish baseline maintenance program
  • Develop maintenance plans for identified equipment, facilities and infrastructure for the site, including manufacturing and non- manufacturing assets
  • Produce maintenance downtime & shut down schedules
  • Initiating and monitoring the purchasing and logistics process to ensure parts, equipment, resources and tooling are available when required
  • Identifying and addressing errors and inconsistencies in SAP master data
  • Identifying opportunities for standardisation across sites in order to increase efficiencies and accuracy
  • You will be passionate about continuous improvement and lean manufacturing as well as change management, quality engineering and plant maintenance
