As a critical Pit-to-Port logistics partner, Newhaul underpins Fenix Resources’ (our parent company) regional growth strategy by ensuring the seamless delivery of production targets across its expanding iron ore operations which encompasses: Weld Range: this Includes Beebyn-W11 Iron Ore Mine, Recent Production commenced in 2025 with a target production rate of 1.5Mtpa Shine Iron Ore Mine: This mine commenced production in 2024 and is expected to produce around 1.2 Mtpa Job Description MAINTENANCE PLANNER Maintenance Planning role for Roads, Ports and Mining Operations – Fixed Plant & Mobile Equipment Newly created role due to business growth in dynamic logistics company CBD Perth based – Monday to Friday role Job Description The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, preparing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure assets across Roads, Ports and Ruvidini operations are maintained safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime. The role focuses on proactive planning, effective scheduling and ensuring all maintenance tasks are work-ready with the right information, resources and support for execution. What you will do Maintenance Planning & Scheduling – Weekly, monthly and forward maintenance schedules for Roads, Ports and mining site equipment and facilities, prioritising tasks based on permit management due dates, critical works, and ensuring minimal operational disruptions Work Order Management – Create and issue accurate work orders and work packs ensuring accuracy of information such as required parts, lead times and support efficient execution of tasks Maintenance Systems & Data Management – Maintain accurate data in CMMS including service history, Permit Management tasks, scheduling dates and asset information. Coordination with Workshop & Contractors - Liaise with workshop supervisors, operations and contractors to align maintenance work with resourcing and availability Continuous Improvement in Planning - Identify improvements to planning processes, Permit Management efficiency and work execution quality Qualifications What you will bring Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or asset maintenance support Understanding of mechanical and/or asset maintenance processes Strong organisational and forward-planning skills Experience using a CMMS (MEX or similar) High attention to detail with strong documentation discipline Experience in transport, heavy vehicle, port equipment or remote operations is desirable If you would like to join us on this exciting journey, please click the apply button to submit your application and resume.
