Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, modify and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using a work order system to meet the dates and achieve compliance;
  • Lead coordination meetings with engineers, maintenance personnel and production supervisors in order to prepare and coordinate all planned and major shutdowns;
  • Work closely with all department leads to complete regular planning schedule / cycles.
  • Plan the necessary resources (labour, parts, special machinery, etc.).
  • Make purchasing requisitions for parts, resources and maintenance services.
  • Codify essential spare parts in our ERP system (SAP).
  • Interface with suppliers for price requests.
  • Participate in the creation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure that departmental performance indicators are captured, reported and followed up on.
  • Represent the Edmonton site within the organization to share good planning practices.
  • Support maintenance department during the Supervisor vacation / absence.
  • Create and track department work orders.
  • Prepare the documents and parts necessary for interventions (equipment files, intervention sheets, specialty tools, time).
  • Any other tasks related to the job may be requested.
