SUMMARY

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler leads the efforts to organize and prepare the maintenance teams efforts and activities for Preventative and planned maintenance tasks. This position will work with maintenance to kit the items needed for planned work as well as work with the production and other teams to schedule maintenance work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PC-Tool Crib

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate Degree in Maintenance / Technical and/or Related Field
  • 5+ years experience in Maintenance

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading Maintenance Efforts in Preventative Maintenance and Scheduled and unscheduled Repair work which includes:

  • Develop and maintain an accurate maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate and schedule all preventative maintenance activities
  • Track and monitor maintenance work orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Communicate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance activities
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for scheduled maintenance activities
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Analyze maintenance data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide regular reports and updates on maintenance activities to management
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians and managers to plan and prioritize maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor
  • Performs other duties as directed
