Sunrise Soya Foods is seeking a Maintenance Planner to work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the maintenance schedule and to ensure the inventory and work order system are running in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will program and record the maintenance activity and equipment performance. By working closely with other departments, the successful candidate will also assist in maintaining the health and safety program. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

THE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE WE NEED ARE:

• High school graduate or Vocational / Technical School Diploma, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance in a production environment including 1 year of procurement experience in a maintenance department
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts used in industrial machinery.
• Ability to forecast parts lifetime and scheduling preventative maintenance for replacing those parts before failing.
• Able to work with CMMS for controlling parts inventory, PM program and KPIs.
• Valid Driver License (minimum class 5)
• Good verbal and written English language skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Strong team building, leadership and motivation skills
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Self-starter
• Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate computer skills in Cad drawing, Excel, Word, MS Project and maintenance related software
• Other language skills an asset
