He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our MSN team based at our Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for implementing maintenance plans that will ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of the operational site, equipment, systems, and infrastructure we have. You will also: Provide Engineering advice to Field supervisors and crew Analysing workload against company KPIs and resource availability Engaging with network engineers to resolve operational issues on the network. Managing Planned preventive maintenance and scheduling. Ensuring all documentation and job requirements for staff are available before work starts. Reporting back to Supervisors of issues and improvements of Maintenance Plans/Work orders Take a lead on complex assets (pump stations) reactive/planned maintenance. Co-ordinate with sub-contractors to deliver quoted and reactive works. Providing On call support currently based on a 1-in-4 roster/rotation This is a fixed-term role until October 2026. You will be an excellent communicator with both internal and external stakeholders to get the best results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or utilities maintenance/planning/scheduling experience. Experience or knowledge of water/wastewater reticulation systems, plant, and materials.
