JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Clear and valid Texas driver’s license

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to conduct on-site inspections of all district facilities
• Knowledge of local and state rules and regulation to maintain compliance, but not limited to life safety, fuel, septic, boilers, fire alarms, elevators, utilities, playgrounds, and other areas as mandated

EXPERIENCE:

• Five (5) years of experience in general maintenance operations preferred
• Three (3) years of experience conducting inspections of facilities or submitting compliance-related inspection reports, certificates, or other documentation
