Description We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Contractor (PRN) for light handyman-type work on an as-needed basis. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently and have experience in basic property maintenance and repair tasks. As a contractor, you will be responsible for completing various maintenance and repair projects at our Topeka location. Key Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repair work including but not limited to: Minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets) Light electrical work (e.g., changing light fixtures) Painting, drywall patching, and basic carpentry Replacing or repairing flooring, doors, windows, and other fixtures Assembling furniture or installing equipment as needed Address maintenance issues on an as-needed basis, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and with attention to detail Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with local building codes and safety regulations Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of projects and any issues encountered Maintain a clean and organized workspace Manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met Requirements Ability to work on a flexible as - needed schedule Proven experience as a handyman or in general property maintenance
