Maintenance Project Coordinator
Where will you work: Onsite at our New Wales Facility – 3095 County Road 640 West | Mulberry, FL 33860. Our site operates 24/7/365. You will have the option to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Are you ready to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely? As a Maintenance Project Coordinator, you will support the successful execution of capital projects and turnaround activities that directly impact plant performance and reliability. From scoping and bidding to managing contractors and ensuring job safety, this role is central to driving efficiency and maintaining high standards across maintenance operations. It’s a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful difference in how projects are planned, executed, and sustained.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide support in implementing capital projects, including preparing Capital Requests (CRs), coordinating with Purchasing to select contractors, managing contracts, overseeing capital project funds, and coordinating field activities to support work execution
  • Assist in managing significant reactive maintenance work by identifying and requisitioning necessary materials or services, and supervising Mosaic Maintenance Mechanics or Technicians as needed
  • Lead area turnaround efforts by identifying scope, coordinating activities, managing budgets, and tracking progress throughout execution
  • Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance work, including bidding, requisitioning services, managing contracts, and coordinating field activities
  • Track maintenance budgets for assigned projects and ensure alignment with financial targets
  • Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities

What you’ll need:

  • High School/GED
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management
  • 1+ years of Computerized Maintenance System experience with an ERP such as SAP
  • Project management experience

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
  • 5+ years industrial maintenance experience
