SUMMARY The Maintenance Project Planner is responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance projects to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of equipment and facilities. This role involves collaborating with maintenance teams, production departments, and vendors to plan preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and capital improvement projects while minimizing downtime and optimizing resources. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Develop and maintain maintenance project plans, schedules, and work orders to ensure timely execution of repairs and improvements. 2. Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources effectively. 3. Conduct site inspections and equipment assessments to identify maintenance needs and develop action plans. 4. Manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. 5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts inventory, and equipment history. 6. Work with procurement and vendors to source necessary parts, tools, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards. 7. Assist in budget preparation and cost tracking for maintenance projects. 8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities. 9. Continuously analyze maintenance processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 10. Support the development and implementation of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered. EXPERIENCE 1. 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or project management in an industrial or manufacturing environment. 2. Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability engineering, and asset management principles. 3. Experience with CMMS software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project). 4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures in an industrial setting.
