Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance or Reliability Engineer with a proven background in maintenance leadership, reliability management, and troubleshooting for Komatsu mining assets. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise with Komatsu haul trucks (especially model HM400-3 or PC850) and Sandvik (especially model DD210 or DS211) including: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, structural components, common failure modes, and operational faults. Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices, OEM recommendations, and post-failure repair challenges. Key Responsibilities: analyzing advanced data from Komatsu truck monitoring and control systems Preparing professional reports and presenting findings Preparing weekly presentations by integrating analysis insights with prior technical knowledge This is a hands-on consulting role based on remote assignments in mining operations. We are looking specifically for candidates who have worked directly at mine sites rather than exclusively in dealerships or service centers. (Consultant – Remote , On-Site Mining Operations) Requirements Demonstrated experience in maintenance leadership roles for Komatsu trucks (with a focus on HM400-3 or PC850) and Sandvik (with a focus on DD210 or DS211) Deep technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and operational systems. Proven hands-on troubleshooting and fault analysis skills. Familiarity with OEM specifications and field-applied maintenance practices. Previous mining site experience – mandatory. Fluent in English (spoken and written) - mandatory Strong technical English proficiency for reading manuals, writing reports, and documenting findings Mechanical Engineer – advantage Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in computer environment and office applications - mandatory Availability for team meetings, presentation of findings, and group-oriented thinking
