Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field, joining our Services business. You’ll work alongside motivated and passionate teammates on the Metronet C-Series Train Fleet in our facility in Nowergup and Perth Control Center. Day-to-day, you’ll support all aspects of the preventative and correct maintenance for the fleet. You’ll work closely with our technicians and engineering team, reporting on any train related defects. The main shift will be from 05:00 AM – 1:00 PM, the afternoon shift may need to be covered from time to time with working hours from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

We’ll look to you for the following activities:

  • Diagnose, identify, and rectify faults in vehicle systems, ensuring operational integrity
  • Support vehicle modification programs aimed at enhancing reliability and maintainability
  • Conduct post-maintenance testing and validation, and update the Maintenance Management System accordingly
  • Assist with depot operations, including train movements, system downloads, and interpretation of diagnostic data
  • Raise and manage work orders for corrective actions on both Alstom and customer platforms
  • Monitor system health tools (e.g., Health Hub) and contribute to service reliability through feedback and corrective measures
