Description About the Role Iredell Health System is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building & Renovation Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and enjoys hands-on work in a variety of renovation and repair projects. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading interior spaces, with a focus on repairs and finishing of drywall, painting, tilework, and flooring. Key Responsibilities Perform drywall installation, taping, mudding, and finishing to a smooth, paint-ready surface. Apply interior and exterior paint with precision, ensuring clean lines and even coverage. Install and repair tile surfaces, including cutting, grouting, and sealing. Lay and repair various flooring types (laminate, vinyl, hardwood, etc.). Conduct general maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Inspect work areas, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment. Requirements Qualifications Ability to balance technical skills with creative vision to meet both aesthetic and functional needs of space. Proven experience in drywall finishing, painting, tile work, and flooring. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Experience assessing property conditions to determine scope of work needed for renovation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Experience providing design recommendations that are durable, cost and time effective, and safe. Physical stamina and flexibility and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to tasks. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
