  • A tertiary qualification in Deisel Fitting, Engineering or other appropriate tertiary qualifications and relevant experience
  • High level problem solving and the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Database Management skills

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth of the business, we are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join our Workshop team in Lytton, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling maintenance and labour for the workshop’s assets, as well as sourcing and purchasing the necessary parts to complete the work.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Develop detailed maintenance work orders and task lists. Assist in Estimating resource (time, labour, materials and services) requirements for planned work.
  • Develop and maintain short-term maintenance schedules, developed and committed to in advance of the 1 to 4 weeks of execution.
  • Report on schedule attainment (planned vs. actual work completion).
  • Ensure that all necessary parts, tools, and equipment are available before scheduling maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with maintenance Coordinators and technicians to ensure work is planned and executed effectively.
  • Assist in allocate manpower, equipment, and materials required for maintenance tasks.

  • Work with procurement & Maintenance Coordinators to ensure timely availability of necessary parts and materials
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, schedules, and completed tasks.
  • Generate and analyze reports on maintenance performance, downtime, and efficiency.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
