The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 graduate or equivalent required
  • College Diploma in Medical or Office Administration required

SKILL, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Intermediate level proficiency using the Microsoft Suite of products required
  • Experience with complex systems and databases. (Access Control, ID Badge management, Parking System management, Virtuo, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Fast accurate Keyboarding skills required
  • Ability to record minutes of meetings and transcribe for review and distribution preferred
  • Experience with ordering supplies, creating purchase orders, and setting up vendors required
  • Experience in purchase requisitions, finance coding and reconciliation required
  • Ability to understand technical questions to determine the best person for the job assignment required
Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Completes clerical tasks such as typing, filing, record keeping, mail sorting & meeting organizing
  • Purchasing supplies for maintenance and bio-medical staff
  • Update manuals
  • Answering telephone, processing information and inquiries received; refers project requests to Manager
  • Maintains stock of stationary supplies and processes purchase requests
  • Assists with various projects and reports for Maintenance and Facilities
  • Assign and manage facility parking
  • Assign Work Orders to appropriate personnel
  • Other assigned duties
