Company Description The Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist PVV (Piping, Valves & Vessels) is responsible for managing all engineering maintenance activities related to PVV systems in order to ensure equipment technical integrity, reliability, and the required availability of critical assets within the LNG plant. Job Description HSE & Compliance Adhere to all HSE policies, compliance rules, confidentiality requirements, and company procedures. Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance department. Work safely, identify and report hazards, and contribute to continuous improvement. Attend mandatory HSE training and ensure compliance among team members and contractors. Support ISO 14001 environmental management system processes. Technical & Operational Responsibilities Ensure safety of personnel, asset integrity and environmental protection within PVV scope. Provide technical expertise and guidance for all PVV and mechanical maintenance operations. Lead the PVV Engineering Specialist Team. Participate in technical reviews, HAZOPs, risk assessments, near‑miss analyses, and incident investigations. Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for equipment failures and implement reliability improvements. Validate, approve, and ensure implementation of maintenance procedures. Review and update documentation, procedures, and safety manuals; ensure proper archiving. Develop and produce new maintenance procedures when required. Ensure quality control during maintenance execution. Planning, Reporting & Performance Prepare and update monthly maintenance reports (KPIs, corrective actions, performance, cost follow‑up, budget tracking). Ensure adequate availability of spare parts and materials, including stock reviews and justification for procurement. Support maintenance and reliability teams in solving complex technical problems. Identify improvement areas for PVV equipment safety, efficiency, and compliance; implement agreed programs. Contract & Vendor Management Coordinate PVV‑related activities carried out by contractors. Ensure contractor performance meets contract deliverables, safety requirements, and quality expectations. Participate in technical scope development for contracts, including pre‑qualification and tender evaluations. Supervise specialist vendors delivering PVV services. Initiate and oversee PVV modification proposals. Team Leadership & Competency Development Manage development and performance of employees, particularly national staff. Identify training needs and ensure implementation of approved development plans. Set annual objectives for subordinates and conduct periodic performance reviews. Perform end‑of‑year appraisals. Qualifications Technical Requirements Excellent knowledge of oil & gas / LNG mechanical equipment, maintenance, repair, and associated methods. Strong expertise in LNG equipment operations and maintenance (valves, piping systems, supports, packaged equipment, tanks, MCHE, heat exchangers, air coolers, fired heaters, cold boxes, loading arms). Excellent knowledge of international engineering codes and standards. Good working knowledge of maintenance SAP (CMMS type). Proficiency with standard engineering tools and computer applications. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Minimum 20 years of specific maintenance experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries. Minimum 10 years of experience in LNG producing plants (not LNG terminals). Additional Information Starting date : July 2026 Duration : 2 years in Milan (resident), then 2 years in Mozambique in rotation
