Company Description MLNG producing plant is a large-scale, high-value gas processing facility operating LNG trains, utilities, storage, and loading systems under strict international safety, reliability, and environmental standards. The Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist – Rotating plays a critical engineering leadership role in ensuring the technical integrity, reliability, and availability of all rotating equipment across the plant. The position leads rotating engineering activities, supervises specialist teams and contractors, manages a financial scope of approximately USD 50 million, and drives continuous improvement in reliability and maintenance performance. Job Description Lead and manage all rotating engineering maintenance activities across the plant. Ensure technical integrity, reliability, and availability of rotating equipment. Conduct and lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for major rotating failures and implement corrective actions. Supervise and guide the Rotating Engineering Specialist team (2 direct reports). Review and optimize preventive maintenance strategies and frequencies. Ensure coherence and prioritization of rotating maintenance work scheduling. Provide advanced technical support to maintenance and reliability teams. Validate and approve rotating maintenance procedures; develop new procedures as required. Ensure quality control during execution of rotating maintenance activities. Coordinate with Condition Monitoring Engineer on machinery health and intervention timing. Ensure adequate spare parts strategy, stock review, material ordering, and financial justification. Coordinate and supervise rotating contractors and vendor activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements. Develop technical scopes of work for contracts and support contractor prequalification. Monitor rotating KPIs (preventive, corrective, cost, performance, budget follow-up) and prepare monthly reports. Identify improvement opportunities in safety, efficiency, production, and compliance; initiate modification proposals. Ensure documentation updates, archiving, and secure backup of rotating control systems and packages. Participate in HAZOPs, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations when required. Support employee development, training programs, and performance evaluations. Promote continuous safety culture and adherence to HSE policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Rotating Engineering (or equivalent international qualification). Minimum 20 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Minimum 10 years of experience in LNG producing plants (not LNG terminals). Strong expertise in gas turbines (including GE Frame 7) and large rotating equipment (compressors, expanders, pumps). Excellent knowledge of international codes and standards. Strong experience in Root Cause Analysis and reliability improvement methodologies. Good knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS systems. Experience managing contractors and technical service agreements. Strong understanding of spare parts management and budget control (large financial exposure). Good computer literacy. Excellent written and spoken English. Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to drive technical excellence in high-performance LNG environments.
