We’re looking for an experienced individual in a skilled trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or mechanical) or facilities maintenance who is a hands-on problem solver to join our Facilities team. This role is ideal for someone with trade skills who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their workmanship, and values keeping spaces safe and functional for others.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required; apprenticeship or trade certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in general maintenance, with demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor building systems such as boilers, pumps, motors, and air handlers, reporting and addressing problems as they arise.
  • Assemble, relocate, and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Record maintenance activities, system readings, and parts used to support smooth facility operations.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, using sound judgment to prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Support larger projects and collaborate with contractors and other trades as needed.
  • Carry out other related duties that make use of your trade knowledge and adaptability.
