EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

  • As a maintenance technician, you have a bachelor’s degree in technical direction/electromechanics or equivalent through previous relevant work experience within a production environment.
  • A number of years of relevant experience in a production environment is a great asset.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, have a good knowledge of English and are eager to learn.
  • You have good logical reasoning and you have a very strong technical understanding
Responsibilities
  • You are jointly responsible for a safe workplace.
  • You are responsible for applying 5S in the technical workshop.
  • You are jointly responsible for a high-quality end product.
  • You will be responsible for supporting the production teams with the more complex technical work/repairs/etc.
  • You are a real technical McGyver in production environments:
  • You provide technical assistance with complex projects/malfunctions/conversions/etc
  • You do ad hoc repairs as well as long-term repairs
  • You assist with trouble shooting.
  • You support structured preventive maintenance
  • You report problems and comments and implement optimizations.
  • You provide training to the technical operators and the filling operators
  • You are able to make analyses (malfunctions, …) and initiate actions independently
  • You do correct stock management of the spare parts
  • You analyze (in collaboration with your colleagues) the problems on the line, inform the production supervisor / maintenance supervisor / Technical operator / technical service where necessary, actively participate in working groups on continuous improvement and make improvement proposals.
