Job Details Job Location: Cabot, PA 16023 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Afternoon Job Category: Maintenance and Repair Maintenance Specialist – Afternoon shift Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Maintenance Specialist to provide maintenance support for a steady afternoon shift. This person will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various equipment and/or systems by following preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all are in proper working order. Although the focus is primarily for our Electro-Plating division, this person will also be expected to provide maintenance services in other departments as needed. Responsibilities: Perform routine preventative, predictive maintenance on equipment and/or facility systems, ensuring proper documentation and on-time completion. Troubleshoot, install components, and perform electrical & mechanical repairs on electro plating machinery and plating baths and other equipment as needed. Relocate and install equipment for electro-plating lines Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facilities. Fabricate needed parts for repairs. Perform all job functions within the guidelines of both the company and OSHA regulations and policies. Inspect all when completed. Paint equipment and/or facilities when necessary. Assist in building new facilities. Shift: In this role, the Maintenance Specialist would initially train on daylight for a season to learn the plating equipment (Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm). Once comfortable with the equipment, the Maintenance Specialist would then go to the steady afternoon shift (Monday- Friday approximately 2:30 pm – 12:00am). Once on the steady afternoon shift a 15% shift premium is applied to the base pay. Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years prior maintenance experience is required. Must have prior experience with rectifiers, pumps, heat exchangers, motors and bearings. Prior experience with machining-equipment maintenance experience (electronics, PLC’s, pneumatics and hydraulics) Must have prior general knowledge and experience with electrical work and 3 phase wiring Candidates should be comfortable working with and have a strong focus on working safely around chemicals. Prior machining experience with lathes and milling machines is desired Must have thorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures related to mechanical and electrical work High school diploma or GED equivalent is required Candidates must be able to stand / walk for an 8 hour day and perform occasional lift of 50 lbs.
