Job Description Summary Job Description Job Summary** As a Maintenance Specialist at GE Medical Systems Israel Ltd, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety. Job Responsibilities** * Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems * Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, utilizing schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals. * Conduct corrective maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure continuous operation. * Document all service activities, including maintenance, repairs, and part replacements, accurately and thoroughly. * Maintain a comprehensive understanding of GE Medical Systems product lines, software, and upgrades. * Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ISO, FDA). * Manage spare parts inventory and order necessary components for repairs. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer service. * Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency service requests outside of regular business hours. Job Qualifications** * Practical engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of complex production environement. * Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach. * Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and test equipment. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service. * Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software.
