Description Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (ACLPOA) is a recreational community located approximately 15 miles east of Galana, Illinois. We are currently looking for a General Maintenance Worker to assist in the day-to-day routine maintenance for the association’s buildings and amenities. This is a full-time position and includes available participation in our employee benefit package including 401k, medical, and dental insurance. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cutting, trimming, and removal of grass, bushes, and trees Trail maintenance and construction; overall grounds and parking lots maintenance Trash and snow removal; janitorial Pool and beach maintenance Plumbing and electrical repairs; painting, staining, and power washing Construction; install and maintain docks Lake maintenance such as weed treatment/harvesting, buoy placements Requirements Requirements: A valid state issued driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under ACLPOA vehicle insurance policy May be required to obtain additional licenses (pesticide applicator, pool operator, etc.) Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and stand/walk for 6+ hours Can work with minimal direct supervision Education: High school or GED Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience with similar functions and responsibilities

Responsibilities

The maintenance staff will perform routine upkeep of buildings, amenities, and grounds, including landscaping, janitorial duties, and repairs. Responsibilities also include lake maintenance, snow removal, and construction tasks such as dock installation.
