DEPARTMENT: Maintenance (seasonal) REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager SUMMARY: Responsible for general maintenance, minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical and other repairs. Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication, and interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of general maintenance tools and techniques required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Performs minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs. Performs general maintenance. Selects needed tools, equipment, and materials. Maintains shop, vehicles and equipment. Uses or holds materials or tools and cleans work area and equipment. Ability to recognize and take appropriate action regarding hazards and safety issues. May work inside, outside, in rooms and public areas. Ensures good safety practices. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with little supervision. Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. Any and all other duties as assigned. Requirements EXPECTATIONS: The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ruttger’s further expects every employee to exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check. Valid Driver’s License. Must have a clean driving record and be able to be insured under Ruttger’s policy to drive company vehicles. Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
