Description Adamas Building Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Temporary Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations at assigned properties. This role is responsible for ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents, tenants, and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance needs Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance issues Assist with preventative maintenance programs Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment Support building operations staff with special projects as needed Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Document completed work orders and report any major issues to management Requirements Qualifications Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends or emergencies if needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and climbing Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Additional Information This is a temporary position with potential for extension based on business needs Uniform and tools may be provided by the company
