We are seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join our high performing team! Job summary: The Role of the Maintenance Superintendent is to provide expertise required to support safe, successful execution, definition, problem solving, reliability and coordination of shift maintenance related work activities Duties and Responsibilities · Leading the maintenance team to work injury-free / incident free in a manufacturing environment. · Ensure safety excellence leading by example, promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implementing the appropriate mitigation strategies based on the risk involved. · Supervising and coordinating maintenance efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting HSE, reliability, quality, production, and cost. · Responsible for the performance and development of the shift maintenance crews by demonstrating strong leadership skills and habits of “best practice.” · Ensuring that follow-up RCAs are completed to identify and resolve recurring downtime and or inefficient operational issues. · Ensuring that maintenance team appropriately use CMMS. · Coordinate and plan preventative outages; guarantee the creation of WO though CMMS, and conduct pre- and post-outage meetings. · Manage area KPI’s: HSE, Downtime, outage efficient, FA and ABC action plan · Communicate regularly with all levels of the plant. Requirements Job specifications · BS in engineering or related field is required or provide experience in similar positions. · At least five years of reliability experience · Full competency with MS Office and general computer operations · Must have 5+ years’ experience supervising in an industrial manufacturing environment. Must understand intricacies of unique production equipment and use this knowledge to enhance operational metrics · Must possess strong written and communication skills · Ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse team through delegation and empowerment, drive projects through to completion, and build a team-oriented environment · Experience using Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus. · Ability to support facility needs at all hours (On call schedule) Salary range: $110,000+ (dependent upon qualifications) Benefits include competitive wages and profit sharing plan as well as medical, dental and vision benefits.
