Reporting to the Plant Engineer and leading a highly skilled Maintenance Team, this role has the responsibility to ensure the availability and reliability of the plant and equipment through the maintenance, repair, monitoring and fault finding of electrical and mechanical assets utilized throughout the plant.   Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment for Supervisors, Tradespeople and Operators Ensuring an immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work are undertaken Monitoring daily plant maintenance activities to ensure priorities are met Completion of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks Ensuring shift manning levels meet the plant requirements Understanding the root causes of downtime and implementing solutions to eliminate said causes Assisting the Plant Engineer with all aspects of running the engineering and maintenance operations department Ensuring follow-up on jobs carried over from previous shifts   About You Established and experienced trades background either within mechanical or electrical Strong leadership and supervisory skills highly advantageous Strong organisational and planning skills Demonstrated efficiency with computers and MS Office packages Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to be dynamic and responsive Ability to build effective professional relationships with various production departments Strong attention to detail   Interested?
