Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift - Hangars Department: Maintenance Reports To: Night Shift Manager   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   1. The Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing personnel under his/her supervision to ensure quality in aircraft maintenance, as well as minimizing delays, working safely and increasing production. 2. Working with Leads to ensure projects achieve quality work on time and on budget, as well as proper and efficient work flow and issuing of task cards. 3. Coordinate and communicate with the Hangar 8 Manager to ensure all aircraft are delivered on or before schedule, as well as maintaining a daily status report. 4. Ensuring company GMM, RSM, SRM, CMM, MM, WDM and FAR procedures are followed, as well as ensuring all aircraft work performed with revised and approved data. 5. Keeping a clean, safe workplace at all times.  Recommending improvements needed to increase performance, quality, etc. to the Hangar 8 Manager; 6. Reporting any problems affecting projects to Hangar 8 Manager as well as liaising with customers. 7. Ensuring personnel are following instructions and performing tasks in a safe efficient manner. 8. Ensuring waste materials, oils, fluids, etc. are handled correctly. 9. Performing other duties as required/requested by Hangar 8 Manager.   QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to travel, work overtime, weekends & days off. FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate; 8 years min, experience in maintenance on commercial category aircraft.    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employs is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. Responsibilities
