Paid Holiday, Sick, and Vacation Time Health Insurance Life Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Plan Healthcare Spending or Reimbursement Accounts such as HSAs, FSAs, HRPs, and HRAs Job Description Inspect and oversee community to resolve problems Perform a variety of maintenance activities as needed- make readies, work orders etc. Develop and maintain a planning and scheduling routine and preventive maintenance of equipment, prioritizing and estimating work and technical assistance when developing job plans Manage, motivate, develop and provide direct leadership to maintenance staff Hire and oversee outside professionals such as electricians, plumbers etc. Inspect and maintain building systems such as heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation etc. Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment so as to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment Keep in check and regulate budget and track maintenance expenditures Regularly check and inspect the material and tools inventory and place order when needed Assist with the implementation of capital projects Approving maintenance strategy including monthly reporting and KPI validation Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines and regulations Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor for (2) year(s) - Required Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP etc.) In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Problem solving aptitude Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills High school diploma Additional Information Properties: 5015 Clinton Apts, 5119 Maplewood Apts, & 531 N Hobart Blvd - 134 units total Pay: $30 - $33/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm, on call in case of any emergencies The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
