Job Description About the Role As our full-time Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the maintenance team, providing support, technical guidance and ensuring our iconic 60+ year old property is maintained to the highest standard. You will also: Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across hotel facilities and systems. Respond quickly to maintenance requests to minimise downtime and guest disruption. Supervise and support the maintenance team in daily operations. Assist with safety and compliance checks including fire systems, emergency lighting and plant inspections. Coordinate contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to brand standards. Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the hotel. Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments to maintain smooth hotel operations. Assist with maintenance reporting, rostering and ongoing improvement projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment. Qualifications Your keys to success in this role include: Previous experience in general maintenance, ideally within hotels, hospitality or large commercial properties. Strong technical knowledge across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills with the ability to support and motivate a team. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. A solid understanding of workplace health, safety and compliance requirements. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
