Job Description As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of our hotel. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities: Ensure the maintenance of the buildings, infrastructure, and overall appearance of our hotel Look after the building compliances and liaise with the compliance auditors Managing contractors and service requests Spot the areas for improvement and take measures to improve those areas Troubleshoot the issues and act on the complaints on a timely basis Prepare the necessary reports and ensure that the budget is being followed Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises to identify and address maintenance issues promptly Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in an on-call rotation as needed Qualifications To be successful in this role you will: Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
