Your purpose will be: Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical bias) to join our team. As a (Electrical bias), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Kenfix equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime for the hotel. Job Description Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Kenfix equipment and related systems Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in Kenfix machinery Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity Calibrate and adjust Kenfix equipment to meet performance specifications Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to optimise equipment efficiency Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with industrial machinery Stay updated on the latest Kenfix technologies and maintenance techniques Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operators Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of Kenfix equipment Train and mentor junior staff on proper Kenfix equipment operation and maintenance procedures Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and resolve complex technical issues Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Kenfix equipment operation and maintenance Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues. Qualifications Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering, higher technical qualification, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a technician, preferably with Kenfix equipment Relevant experience in a similar capacity within a hotel or facilities management environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues Strong knowledge of Kenfix equipment systems and components Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail. Results-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence, safety, and service quality. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative approach.
