Job Description We are searching for a hands-on problem solver to work across two centrally located Sydney CBD hotels. Reporting to the General Managers of Hotel Morris Sydney - Handwritten Collection & The Sebel Sydney Martin Place, this role is key in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Hotels. Duties include preventative, predictive and reactive works whilst building relationships with fellow Heartists & external contractors. What Will You Be Doing? Monitoring and coordinating the overall maintenance workflow across both hotels, ensuring tasks are prioritised appropriately and completed to brand, safety and compliance standards Maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings on the Hotels Liaising closely with external contractors and service providers, overseeing the quality and timeliness of their work to maintain smooth hotel operations Ensuring the Hotels remain a functionable, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors & Heartists Conducting maintenance requirements and follow ups as scheduled & logged by the Hotels’ systems Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly Qualifications What We Are Looking For: Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant or equipment systems. Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs An individual who enjoys working in dynamic environments Good written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
