Description
The Maintenance Supervisors handle many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for evaluating problematic systems and determining what repairs need to be performed. Maintenance Supervisors are also involved with the hiring of workers, and assigning duties and responsibilities; the maintenance supervisor may provide training on equipment and procedures used in a building or complex. Maintenance supervisors are also responsible for coordinating with building or complex management on supplies needed for the job, as well as maintenance inventory. Supervisors may also be responsible for the evaluations and accident investigations, as well as filing reports.    Job Duties and Responsibilities:   * Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs. * Supervise all general building maintenance. * Supervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment. * Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness. * Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED Required. * Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. * 5+ years of related experience to include Management and/or Supervisory experience. * Knowledge of State, local government, and OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. * Knowledge of general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC codes requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.). * Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.  * Time management and time critical prioritization skills.       #LI-PK1
