ABOUT THE ROLE

BMA Goonyella Mine, are looking for a driven and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Mainteance team.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing maintenance crew.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance for draglines and shovels to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive compliance with all statutory and company safety standards.
• Analyse breakdown trends and implement preventative solutions.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create a positive, inclusive team culture where everyone can perform at their best.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Electrical Trade Qualification with relevant post-trade experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Solid technical understanding of dragline and shovel electrical systems.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding expertise in high-voltage mining equipment.
• Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
• Previous experience supervising maintenance teams in a mining environment (preferably dragline and shovel).
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing teams
