Description Job Type Full-time Description Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Reports to: General Manager Exempt Position Location: Onsite - Emmaus, PA The Maintenance Supervisor’s responsibilities include Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance functions, assisting in oversight of facility improvement projects, working with vendors to source maintenance supplies, maintaining the facility and manufacturing process. Responsibilities: Hands-on Maintenance Management Assist in oversight of facility improvement projects Interact with outside vendors to source equipment and services as needed to maintain the facility, equipment and processes Organize and maintain sufficient maintenance spare part inventory to minimize downtime within established maintenance budgets Performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Background in electrical power and controls, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics Strong background in maintenance safety and compliance systems including NFPA70 (NEC), a personal belief and understanding that working safely the only wat to work Good communication skills Understanding of modern maintenance systems and concepts including PM and TPM PC proficiency, software experience including Microsoft Office suite Preferred Skills and Experience: 5 – 10 years’ experience managing a manufacturing maintenance department Strong background in HVAC, boiler systems and flame safety and temperature control systems Strong background in maintenance safety and compliance systems. A working knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC Experience conducting and leading maintenance and contractor work safety meetings Strong project management skills, track record of success managing capital projects Software experience including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CNC, PLC and HMI programming software Experience with air permitting and compliance or experience in any area of compliance is a plus Supervisory Responsibilities: Maintenance Department and Employees Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally Able to bend, kneel, stand, and sit various times throughout eight hours a day Occasional repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and twisting. Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing to perform required tasks. Comfortable working at heights.
