Job Details Job Location: Whiteland - Whiteland, IN 46184 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Not Specified Job Category: Manufacturing Position Summary: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel. Essential Position Requirements (include but are not limited to): SAFETY FIRST – Every employee of Cellofoam North America Inc. must demonstrate a strong commitment to following all safety standards, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others. Maintain safe plant operations by ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and correcting machinery when it is not operating properly. Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance, mold-maintenance, and mold setters. Schedule mold changes and ensure parts are being run as planned. Schedule maintenance projects as needed. Contact suppliers for necessary materials. Coordinate contractors, as necessary. Coordinate mold modifications and repairs with the tool shop. Discuss any unsafe conditions at the plant with employees and trouble-shoot to correct. Purchase maintenance items with the assistance of plant manager and production manager. Set up preventative maintenance programs. Document and maintain all preventative maintenance records for the plant. Assist production managers and supervisors as needed. No Travel Required Five to seven years of maintenance experience including: hydraulics, electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, welding, pipe fitting and other related areas. Supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process.
