Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of Maintenance supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field;

  • OR
  • Red Seal Certification as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills in a unionized site.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial facility in Taber AB .This role will oversee the daily activities of skilled trades, including millwrights, electricians, and other technicians, ensuring machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, schedule, and support a team of millwrights, electricians, and general maintenance staff.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a production environment.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance parts and supplies.
  • Work closely with production and operations to minimize disruptions and prioritize repairs.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, records, and equipment history using CMMS software.
  • Provide training and development for trades team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
