Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities within our client’s automotive manufacturing facility in London, ON region.
Shift - Night
Pay - $80-$90k

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or technical degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in automotive manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or on-call as needed.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain production equipment, including robotics, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, CNC machines, and automated systems.
  • Coordinate and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate timely repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs, including downtime reports and work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize production disruptions.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve skill sets and safety awareness.
  • Recommend improvements and upgrades to machinery and maintenance processes.
