ROOMS PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, this role is vital in ensuring that the hotel facilities and equipment are in good working order for guests and colleagues.

You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces including:

• Ensuring that all necessary hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Maintaining, repairing and cleaning all guest rooms in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Performing miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, patching holes in walls, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting and repairing grout and caulking.
• Reporting any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager.
• Calibrating all controls, gauges, meters, etc.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed. Maintain inventory and purchase orders log. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
• Complete the life safety checklist, including the fire-pump run test and generator run test. Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.

As a supervisor you will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards;
