We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor / Subcontractor Lead. Join our facilities Management team and play a key role in managing the site trades and subcontractors to deliver for our customer and contractual requirements. Reporting to Facilities Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

• Experience in a trade or similar industry
• Experience in managing a large team within a KPI framework.
• Experience in managing subcontractors
• Proven people leadership experience and a strong customer centric approach.
• A demonstrated ability to get the best out of a team.
• Experienced at effective resource planning and scheduling.
• A strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands.
• Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must be computer literate and be able to use MS Outlook and MS Excel.Must hold a current full driver’s licence.
•

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Managing our trades and subcontractors’ performance including Zero Harm, quality and productivity.
• Development of trades staff including delivering staff performance reviews.
• Along with our national Service Management Centre scheduling and planning the workloads of the internal trades team and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective jobs completion and KPI’s.
• Supporting the site with solid technical solutions, guiding team members, and providing steady and consistent leadership.

• Develop strong collaborative customer relationships and ensure customer interactions are positive and constructive.Enjoy being ‘hands-on’
