Job Description WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will be a part of a vibrant maintenance department responsible for supporting our operational team with all their physical plant, vehicle, and grounds needs. You will come to work each day being solution focused and ready to collaborate to make the work environment a positive place for all through your communication and actions. Along with supervision of the field engineers, you with work with the Director of Maintenance on project coordination, bidding out work orders, managing and allocating of people resources, assessing and monitoring quality and job completion, cost reporting and budget management. Meeting timelines, assuring licensing, code and other regulatory requirements are met. Working with contractors, landlords and vendors, as well as being the ambassador and representative of Dungarvin in a multitude of different settings and interactions. Attention to detail, having the ability to use time management skills to manage and address competing priorities is a must. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 is a plus. Some travel may be required for this position. Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required At least three years’ experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair and/or related construction trade education Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures. This person must be able to multitask, have good decision-making and communication skills, in addition to knowledge and experience in property management and working with outside contractors assuring quality results and authorizing billing for those services Proven experience with bidding out work orders and project management Previous supervisor experience preferred Solution focused an collaborative approach Ability to address and manage conflict appropriately Ability to represent the department and organization professionally to inside and outside parties The ability to lead and grow a team of engineers Additional Information At Dungarvin, diversity and inclusion are a part of what makes our organization strong.
