Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Supervisor coordinates and supervises the daily work of maintenance staff to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role oversees electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems across multiple locations, assigns and inspects work through the maintenance ticket system, and supports facility projects, renovations, and regulatory compliance. The Maintenance Supervisor provides hands-on leadership while promoting safety, accountability, and Christian values. Responsibilities: Supervise, assign, and inspect maintenance work using the maintenance ticket system to ensure quality and timely completion. Coordinate, install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and related building systems across all locations. Determine materials, equipment, and staffing needs for maintenance projects and reassign resources as necessary. Provide leadership, training, and oversight for maintenance and janitorial personnel, including onboarding and ongoing development. Perform general repairs, including painting, wall patching, shelving installation, landscaping, and minor construction. Assist with facility renovations, construction projects, and serve as a point of contact for contractors when needed. Support inspections of major contract work and assist with surveys, reports, and plans of correction. Ensure Safety Data Sheet (SDS) books are current and properly maintained. Assist with compliance, safety procedures, emergency response, and regulatory requirements. Participate in committees, special projects, fundraisers, emergency coverage, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; degree or certification in engineering, construction, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of general maintenance experience required. Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred; healthcare or IDD experience a plus. Demonstrated skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general construction, and basic engineering. CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, safety standards, and patient rights guidelines. Valid Ohio driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
