What we offer: * Competitive pay * Full benefit package * 401k matching * Tuition Reimbursement Position Overview: The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of mechanical systems within the plant. What you will be doing: * Establish and maintain a culture of accountability in the maintenance group * Provide daily supervision to the mechanical maintenance group. * Work with the ECC to optimize distribution of department manpower. * Responsible for ensuring that Maintenance is performed in an economical manner. * Work with the planner to develop long term & shutdown plans & schedules. * Make sure all aspects of job HSE are considered before work begins (permits, LOTO, etc.) * Give safety meetings & train mechanics as needed. * Assist engineering & perform project work. * Perform administrative duties as needed (i.e. time approval, vacation scheduling, etc.). * Manage the mechanical backlog as well as the applicable mechanical safety backlog items. * Assist in ensuring equipment reliability by following good maintenance practices in repairs, inspections, preventive & predictive maintenance, as well as following the appropriate standards for new equipment installation. * Ensure that maintenance group activities are compliant with plant and corporate HSE policy as well as state and federal regulations. Required Qualifications: * Min 7 plus years of industrial plant or refinery experience. Previous Supervisory experience is preferred * High school diploma or (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience * Transportation Worker’s Identification Credentials (TWIC) * Excellent communication skills * Ability to perform basic math and computer skills * Must have good fundamental knowledge of maintenance practices in rotating equipment repair, pipefitting, welding & rigging, as well as other supplemental maintenance practices
