Maintenance Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Supervisor at FirstPoint Technical Services L.L.C is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil maintenance tasks are executed efficiently. The role involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring timely completion of work, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in maintenance supervision within the technical services, MEP, or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil maintenance work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in managing preventive and reactive maintenance programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance supervision.
• Certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Experience in the UAE market and knowledge of local regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Hands-on experience in both residential and commercial maintenance projects.
