Maintenance Supervisor Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and tackling challenges head-on? As a Maintenance Supervisor at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things maintenance, leading a talented team and making a tangible difference on-site at your property daily. What You'll Do: Lead and manage the property’s maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality service. Oversee all maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and property inspections. Ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are operating efficiently and safely. Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize and address maintenance requests and projects. Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted work to ensure quality and timeliness. Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among your team. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to protect residents and property. Train, mentor, and develop your team to achieve their full potential. Ensure apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents. What Makes You a Great Fit: You’re certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields. You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable. You have hands-on experience in maintenance, with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. You’re a natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to deliver their best work. You’re highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities while staying focused on the big picture. You’re a problem-solver who thrives on finding practical solutions to challenges. You take pride in delivering excellent service and creating spaces residents are proud to call home. You’re familiar with maintenance/property management software and comfortable using technology to streamline processes. You’re flexible and ready to respond to after-hours or weekend emergencies as needed.
