Responsibilities

YOUR PURPOSE

This Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily maintenance operations to ensure maximum plant availability while maintaining equipment to the highest standard. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with production personnel, Contractors and tradespeople to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Additionally, this position will lead a team of maintenance trades, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain efficiency and productivity across all maintenance activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage, Coach and develop the mechanical maintenance team performance, succession planning, and talent development. Including rostering, payroll & leave management
  • Oversee and coordinate daily and weekly maintenance execution, ensuring work is planned, completed efficiently, and aligns with site objectives, contractor management, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Contractors and other departments, such as production, quality, environmental, and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and equipment history, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and implement the Asset Care Strategy, including Autonomous Maintenance for process equipment, to enhance reliability and performance.
  • Continuously improve maintenance management systems, preventative maintenance strategies, and downtime reduction through effective SOPs, root cause analysis, and inventory management.
