Made Possible.  JOB SUMMARY:Manages repair and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment including: Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments. Installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure. Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations. Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Hands-on supervisor position in most cases but will require people supervision on tasks needing additional support and schedulingLeaders typically manage two or more direct reports.Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for theirarea of responsibility.Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training,and developing employees.Progression within the levels reflects increase in scope and responsibilities as well as growth inbusiness and industry experience, process and people leadership capabilities, and broadtechnical expertise.Works on issues of limited scope.Requires understanding and application of established procedures and full knowledge of ownarea of functional responsibility.Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operationalproblems.Applies operational business practices and coordinates with other closely related areas toimprove efficiency.Directs operations of work units.Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables; work isreviewed for accuracy and completeness.Decisions directly impact work unit operations.Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules. Interacts daily with subordinates or peers within similar or related functions primarily for the purpose of presenting and exchanging information. Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing (work performed and completed, pending work orders requiring prioritization, pending work orderds requiring bids from third-party vendors).Manage all aspects of work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including prioritization, status updates, and timely closeout. Coordinate with third‑party vendors, including obtaining and reviewing bids as needed. Ensure compliance with GPI safety absolutes, including required fall protection training and certification. Apply strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
